CFL LASER AND LIGHT SYSTEM

The cFL laser and light module combines a high-power flashlight, visible and invisible laser and an IR illuminator in a single sturdy module. The system incorporates all options for tactical target designation in an extremely small package with minimal weight.

The latest technology LED white light source provides a stunning bright flashlight which exceeds the beam power and life expectancy of xenon lights of similar size whilst using far less energy, thus substantially extending battery life. An IR illuminator lights the immediate area for urban combat when using NVGs.

The cFL laser is fitted with two of the following laser inserts:

• Red visible beam 635nm
• Infrared invisible beam 840nm

MINIMI™ 7.62 MACHINE GUN

FN HERSTAL recently launched the MINIMI™ 7.62 x 51mm lightweight machine gun, to fulfil a growing worldwide requirement for a machine gun which provides the power of 7.62 ammunition in a 5.56 weight machine gun.

MINIMI™ 5.56 and 7.62 machine guns have most parts in common, and similar ergonomics. A MINIMI™ 5.56 machine gun user therefore needs no extra training to utilise the MINIMI™ 7.62 machine gun.

The MINIMI™ 7.62 machine gun is equipped with a medium barrel (longer than the MINIMI™ 5.56 machine gun and shorter than the MAG 7.62 machine gun).

The MINIMI™ 7.62 machine gun weighs less than 1kg more than the MINIMI™ 5.56 machine gun, and approximately 4kg less than the MAG 7.62 machine gun.

The PM-98 submachine gun is an automatic weapon specifically designed for the armament of battlefield logistic and support personnel, recon detachments, specialist counter-terror and armed police teams, and security details. Intended for short range engagements up to a range of 150m, the PM-98 is compact, lightweight and ergonomic whilst still offering a high degree of accuracy and rate-of-fire. The PM-98 is tough enough to withstand the most punishing environments and conditions, and can be used in conjunction with a laser sight and halogen flashlight.
